Several years ago I did this thing where I saw 30 shows in 30 days. And although Richmond had several venues for music, the place that was most likely to fill my needs was Strange Matter. I heard great music, ate delicious food, and cemented some friendships. I’m not the only DJ here who’s been impacted by this place, and I know I won’t be the only one to miss it. So this morning I give you my love letter to my home away from home.
