Samuel Goff is a homegrown musician with his hands in some of the best of Richmond’s current experimental roster: RAIC, Among the Rock and Roots, and his own tape “Transmissions.” His mix runs the gamut of the weaponized personal material–see his and other forthcoming work on Goff’s imprint Cacophonus Revival— while also balancing the political, featuring absolute heaters from Max Roach, Sons of Kemet, and Jen Kutler. Like his label, this guest mix is not constrained by geography or specific backgrounds.
It’s a blast to listen through.
This is also the most out there episode of the show put to tape so far.
