Panoramic presents:
I’m home sick with a one two punch from allergic upper respiratory nonsense, so I crowd polled a grand total of five people as to which show I should rerun, and the winner was…
This is honestly one of my favorite episodes of the show overall, and one of its most experimental. In addition to letting the great bell hooks speak at length through found sounds and lecture excerpts, this one features a stacked and constantly moving roster of some of the most forward thinking music by people of color that were kicking around in my hard drive at the time.
This show is an example of the kind of wild, leftfield programming you won’t find anywhere else on Richmond radio. This is a community-based station, run by some of the best and brightest in the community, a few of which I’m honored to call friends.
Thank you to WRIR for what you do and letting me run amok every other week. If you like what you hear, consider donating to keep this ongoing experiment going. Even if it is just a dollar. Every thing helps, and your voice matters.
And next time I’m sick, which is maybe a year or four from now, I’ll run back the video games one.
