WRIR’s fall 2020 fund drive
WRIR’s Fall 2020 Fund Drive is currently underway — we’re working to raise $40,000 by Wednesday October 28 to make sure Richmond’s “sound of surprise” continues to inform, inspire, delight and surprise you for a second 16 years (our first broadcast day was January 1, 2005 so we’ll be turning 16 soon) and more beyond that.

Many of the folks receiving this message have already donated during this drive or are monthly sustaining members — thank you to all of you for keeping 97.3 FM, Richmond’s “tower of low power,” on the radio and internet airwaves! I’ll be on the air today at 3 PM with a fund drive edition of Global A Go-Go. It’s the first time I’ve ever pre-recorded a fund drive show (COVID-19 is ensuring that there are a lot of first-times in all of our lives) — it’s two hours of inspiration and motivation from yours truly, featuring some of my favorite music including a bunch of songs and artists that I closely identify with this radio program.
