Open Source RVA presents:

SHAMROCK THE SOURCE! On Friday’s noon edition of Open Source RVA, looking ahead to St. Patrick’s Day, we welcome William Mccormack, the proprietor of McCormack’s Irish Pub and McCormack’s Whisky Grill. “Mac” talks all about  whisky — and he offers 1,400 types, so he knows whisky — and how the COVID situation has actually helped to reform some of Virginia’s archaic ABC laws. We also present a rebroadcast of Mike Kemetic’s conversation with drummer Corey Fonville of the powerhouse Richmond band, Butcher Brown. Fonville talks about his origin story, and how the group ended up recording the Monday Night Footbal theme, and much more. BUT WHAT ABOUT RICHMOND CITY COUNCIL, YOU ASK? We have a particularly filthy installment of the Quick and Dirty Council Roundup, courtesy of RVA Dirt’s Melissa Vaughn. All that PLUS an angry letter to Carly Simon. YOU PROBABLY THINK THIS SOURCE IS ABOUT YOU!! WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org.
