Open Source RVA presents:

THIS SOURCE IS ON THE MOVE!! On Friday’s “Pedals and Protest” edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, we talk living wages and unionizing with Thomas Burkett and Ryan Cales of the group, VCU Adjuncts Organizing For Fair Pay (AOFP). They’ve just announced the formation of a local chapter of United Campus Workers to help them advocate for Virginia Commonwealth University’s adjunct faculty. AND WE’RE HAVING A BIKE BOOM! We discuss Richmond’s love for the bicycle, and the current pandemic-fueled bike craze, with Josh Silverman, the president of Richmond Area Bicycling Association (RABA).  AND HOLD ON TO YOUR SMOKE DETECTORS! We’ve also got a brand new Quick and Dirty Council Roundup that’s more quick than dirty, presented by the endlessly patient Melissa Vaughn of RVA Dirt. SOURCE IT IF YOU GOT IT. Friday noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.og.
