This Fund Drive’s art comes from artist Mac Woolley:
“When I first started scrolling around radio stations in Richmond, I noticed I would always end up listening to 97.3. I wasn’t surprised to learn it was Richmond’s independent radio station. I can always expect a song I’ve never heard when I tune in to WRIR and that’s what keeps me coming back.
I always like to see what towns local radio stations are like when I travel so I am happy to have such a good local station where I live.
I’ve gone to school and worked as an artist and designer in Richmond for the past four years and am so happy to have this t-shirt design for WRIR’s fall fund drive. I love long sleeve shirts, so it was a fun surprise to see that this season’s shirt is a long sleeve. I hope people like the design and donate to Richmond’s best radio station” @macwoolleys
