I’ve been re-thinking how I want to approach doing a weekly show after my three year break. I’m definitely still very interested in drawing upon new music from the station’s library, but sometimes the thirty songs don’t quite fill the full two hours of the show. I don’t want to yammer on too much (except for during the fund drive, of course), and I’ve been pulling from my own collection to round out the time. Last week, one of the songs I played was a cover — I have a deep affection for cover songs. I’ve decided as of this week, that will be the focus of any music I might need to fill out a show. You may hear some covers occasionally from the newer selections (as is the case this week), and I may change my mind about this later, but for now, that’s the plan. Enjoy!
