Open Source RVA presents:

YOUR SOURCE FOR PEACE AND POLITICS! On Friday’s star spangled edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Dina Weinstein talks with Colonel Pratt, Executive Director of the Richmond Peace Education Center. He reflects on his organization’s local efforts to promote peace and the troubling conflicts in the Middle East and talks about his own journey to become a peacemaker. THEN Don HarrisonĀ discusses the results of the state elections with Rich Meagher Professor of Political Science at Randolph-Macon College. He talks about what the Richmond casino defeat does for Mayor Levar Stoney’s political future, and explains how the Democrats managed to take over the Virginia statehouse on election night (one word: abortion). PLUS our own Goad Gatsby attends the Virginia Democrats’ celebratory after-vote party, and checks in on Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s less-than-celebratory after-vote press conference. IT’S THE SOURCE OF COURSE! Give it a listen on Friday at noon on WRIR 97.3FM andĀ wrir.org.
