Midtown Swing presents:
Bill Lupoletti here, normally the host of Global A Go-Go (Mondays at 3 PM), sitting in for DJ Ginger this week on Midtown Swing. I have a bunch of great material for you both old and new, starting with a song by Abbey Lincoln whose lyrics are part of my personal ethos.
From there we’ll get into some tango, indie rock, New Orleans psychedelia, jazz, reggae, blues and soul (wouldn’t be a DJ Ginger show without soul, would it?). And that’s just the first hour. Wait till you hear the second hour.
And keep your hand wide open, let the sun shine through, ’cause you can never lose a thing if it belongs to you.
