The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit/Nighttime Maneuvers presents:
Hey Listeners,
I’m taking one look back at the music from 2017. Not planning on playing my favorite tracks or ranking releases, but music is a big part of my life and I want to feature tracks that I’ll remember as highlights from the year – for one reason or another.
I’ll also be giving away a pair of tickets to see Cracker at The Jefferson next Monday night and playing some tracks from Andy Mowatt’s Steely Jam. They’ll be at Cary Street Cafe on Friday night. Andy’s dad is a childhood friend of mine. We spent our formative years getting into trouble during the summer months. I’m looking forward to meeting Andy and seeing his band live.
One highlight from this past year came during the final set at Locken. Bobby Weir was playing with the Avett Brothers – which was great. Even better – my son Malcolm popped up on the Jumbotron. Cool. Here’s a shot of it.
