Francosonic presents:
Salut, les gars !
***TUNE IN FOR RICHMOND FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL PASS GIVEAWAY!!****
Tonight on Francosonic, we have a special treat – you’ll hear from two musicians presenting new music from their forthcoming album at the Richmond French Film Festival! Bet you didn’t know there was more than cinema at a film festival!
George Aguilar and Joost van Lubeek became friends after meeting at last year’s Richmond French Film Festival, and since that time they have capitalized on common creative inspiration and produced the album “All is One.” Joost has written hundreds of songs, some of which he will premiere on Tuesday, March 26 in advance of the festival. He has traveled the world and incorporated sounds from various cultures into his songs, which are a mix of rock, jazz, and blues…what George likes to call “blazz.”
You’ll hear the music and an interview I did with them on tonight’s show.
Bonne écoute ! See you at the festival!
