Every 4th Friday at 11am: Black Coochie, hosted by Lacette Cross and Ebony Walden
Black Coochie is a conversation by Black women, for women of color celebrating sexuality, inspiring us to be healed, whole and free.
The show aims to engage in provocative conversations that celebrate and explore the beauty and complexity of sex, the power of life’s lessons and what it means to be a good steward of our sexuality. This will be a sex positive, queer friendly, spiritually expansive, womanist commentary and exploration designed to honor, highlight and ultimately empower Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) women to live their best sexual lives. Black Coochie is intersectional, informational and inspirational.
Hosts Lacette Cross and Ebony Walden are 40-something Black women interested in hearing from BIPOC women/femmes about sex, sexuality, faith and spirituality. We created this podcast from our work of interviewing women of color as part of a larger book project to help BIPOC women embrace the goodness of sexuality, connect to others through the power of story and learn how to create a sexual ethic shaped by spiritual faith.
