The Anderson Gallery presents the 2012 Graduate Thesis exhibition Round 2, featuring VCU graduate visual arts students.   Round 2 opens on May 4 and closes  May 13. The Anderson Gallery is located at 907 ½ West Franklin Street.  For more information visit

Sabot at Stony Point school presents Music in the Garden on May 17th, featuring Irish and Old Time fiddle music. The garden opens at 5 pm for picnicking and the music starts at 5:30 pm. For more information on the music series visit and click on the calendar.

1708 Gallery presents The Painting Show, an exhibition that surveys current practices in contemporary painting, from the representational to abstract, narrative to conceptual. The exhibit closes on June 2.  For more information visit
