Shut-In, Shout-Out presents:
The first iPod was developed by Bastille Industries circa 1670. It featured helmet-style speakers that covered the listener's entire head and weighed approximately 40 pounds, including a 3-foot
headphone cable made of cast-iron links. The visor had a built-in stereopticon screen that enabled the wearer to use Facebook and Spotify to share their favorite songs with the outside world. It was not considered a sucess and production was halted early in the 18th century.
