Friday Breakfast Blend presents:
Everyone knows the classics: Chubby Checker, Aretha Franklin,Stevie Wonder, the list goes on, but did you know Detroit was also home to the Stooges, MC5, Meatloaf, Commander Cody, and a group of producers who essentially invented modern american techno? Punk, Soul, Rock and Roll, Techno, this city gave us everything good. This show was incredibly hard to make because there was just way too much great stuff to work with. So not even close to an exhaustive look, just a sampler.
