POP Goes The World! presents:

O.k., kids, I need y’all to re-pree-zent! We’re in the middle of our spring 2019 fun drive. The goal is $40,000 in 7 days. We’re in day 3, and we’re currently at $20,200. Just over half way there. Now is NOT the time to be complacent! My favorite part about being involved with WRIR is hosting cool bands from out of town, and have their jaws drop in awe about how amazing a project that is completely run by passionate volunteers can be so professionally run. WRIR is the largest and most successful LPFM radio station in the country (google it), and the flagship standard for the LPFM model, and it’s in YOUR back yard, and has not only been surviving for 14 years, but flat out THRIVING! Please continue to help us thrive!
I’ll be hosting Washington, D.C.’s six piece soul punk outfit Lightmare on this afternoon’s Pop Goes The World, and I look forward to watching their jaws drop!
