You’ll hear it tonight…Fresh from Valcour Records I’ve got T’Monde’s “Lights in the Harbor.” T’Monde: Drew Simon, Megan Brown Constantin and Kelli Jones. Just released from Jin Records (Flat Town Music from Ville Platte, LA) is The Opelousas Sostan Collection by Rufus Jagneaux. It’s a WIDE variety of traditionals and originals by a GROUP (not an individual, as I had previously thought) recorded generally about 50 years ago by a band of musicians in Lafayette. Plus the (un)usual mix of Cajun, Creole, Zydeco and Swamp Pop. Thanks for tuning in. Hope it puts wind in your sails.
