Monday Breakfast Blend – Women Art Revolution presents:
Today it’s a deep dive into Pauline Oliveros, her theory and practice of Deep Listening, and her collaborators and comrades. In the first block, we explore the San Francisco Tape Music Center. Then we go into some of Pauline’s collaborations, including the Deep Listening Band and Cicada Dream Band. We then hear some of Pauline’s solo works, followed by a performance of one of the Sonic Meditations and a talk by Pauline about the practice of Deep Listening. We close out with some selections from Pauline’s close collaborators and comrades. Thanks for listening!
