YULE DIG IT!! On Friday’s special Christmas Eve edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, It’s our annual YULELOG edition, featuring seasonal readings, skits, and songs from the Source family and friends. Among our guests: Singer-songwriter Susan Greenbaum, who tells Don Harrison about her favorite holiday music and performs a special Hanukkah song. Dina Weinstein also checks in with Karina Benavides, owner of Abuelita’s Mexican restaurant in Midlothian. Abuelita’s cooks are preparing hundreds of Christmas tamales to be enjoyed in homes across the Richmond region – yum yum! Plus, we have holiday contributions from Tony Jordan, Melissa Vaughn, Kate Andrews, Tina Eshleman, Scott Wichmann, producer Krysti Albus, production assistant Olivia Harrison and the rest of the Open Source RVA Holiday Art Players.
