Open Source RVA presents:

BABIES, BROADSIDES & THE BARD!! On Friday’s expansive edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Dina Weinstein talks about America’s baby formula shortage with Katie Wilson, a Richmond-area mom advocating for elected officials to do more to alleviate the crisis. Then Don Harrison welcomes James Ricks, the artistic director for Quill Theatre. Quill’s annual Richmond Shakespeare Festival starts June 2 at historic Agecroft Hall, and will include the longtime theatre festival’s first non-Shakespeare production. Finally, Dina speaks with The Boston Globe’s Kimberly Atkins Stohr, the inaugural columnist for The Emancipator, a 19th-century antislavery publication that has been revived with a modern lens. TO SOURCE OR NOT TO SOURCE! It’s really not a question. Friday noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org.
