On Friday’s patriotic yet tuneful edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Dina Weinstein talks to Brandon Jarvis, publisher of Virginia Scope, about Virginia’s midterm elections. We ask him about, among other things, where the Red Wave was. Dina also speaks with Fallon Burner, indigenous historian at Colonial Williamsburg, about the enhanced programming at CW to commemorate Native American Heritage Month. AND Don Harrison welcomes Cassidy Snider, lead vocalist for Cassidy Snider & The Wranglers (pictured). The style-spanning Richmond band has a new disc of originals, “A Good Heartbreak,” and is throwing an album release show at The Camel on Nov. 16. IT’S THE SOURCE, OF COURSE!!
