The Lunar Orbit: January 7, 2023 – A Very Incomplete Best of List (What happened to the space titles? They’ll be back!)
Welcome to the first official week of 2023, tonight I am bringing you a (very incomplete) list of some of the best post-rock that was released last year! I have tried to make this a list of both some of the biggest releases of last year like Russian Circles “Gnosis, and El Ten Eleven’s “New Year’s Eve”, and some of my favorites like Deer Park Ranger, hubris., and Guilt & The Bear. This is an extremely incomplete list lol but the most I could squeeze into two hours, 2022 was a VERY good year for post-rock releases, and it doesn’t even touch on all the fantastic ambient or math-rock music we got last year (maybe those will be follow up episodes, I’ll see.) Anyway, hope you enjoy!
