Open Source RVA presents:

GREEN BEER? NO. GOOD TALK? YES! On the St. Paddy’s Day edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Don Harrison welcomes Andrew Cothern, the author of the book, “RVA Playlist: Stories from the Richmond Music Scene.” Andrew, a long time chronicler of Richmond sounds, tells us about his favorite local bands and why he’s known as “Mr. Playlist” to so many. We also present a rebroadcast of Dina Weinstein’s interview with Afghan journalist and evacuee Khushnood Nabizada. He talks about why it’s important for the U.S. Congress to FINALLY pass the Afghan Adjustment Act, which allows certain Afghan evacuees to apply for permanent status. IT’S A WHOLE LOTTA SHOW! (But you’re a whole lotta listener). Friday noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org.
