What was going on in ’98?
• Brandy and Monica duel it out on their hit single “The Boy is Mine.”
• Will Smith gets “Jiggy wit it.” Because in 1998 he was still a music artist, not an actor. He also seemed a bit, perhaps, happier then.
• Dave Navarro’s brief stint with The Red Hot Chili Peppers comes to an end.
• Cher believes in life after love… and autotune.
• George Michael engages in a “subconsciously deliberate act” in a Beverly Hills public restroom.
