The Lotus Land Show presents:
The Honorable Right Reverend Dr. Michael Miracle is off performing priestly functions this week, so Alyssa Salomon and Bill Lupoletti are sitting in for Rev. Miracle for this special Spring 2024 Fund Drive episode. Let’s call it “Can’t Stop The Lotus Land A Go-Go.”
Alyssa, better known to the WRIR cognoscenti as P. Swann, was the host of Can’t Stop The Music way back in the station’s early years, playing found sounds, comedy, music intentionally and unintentionally humorous, other things oblique and obscure, plus the occasional actual song. She’s bringing two hours worth of her favorite Can’t Stop The Music hits.
Bill has been decolonizing your ears on Global A Go-Go (currently Sunday at 1 PM) since WRIR’s beginning. He’ll mainly be pushing buttons and twiddling knobs, serving as Alyssa’s straight man and reminding you of the donation imperative, since it is fund drive time. Make Michael proud and make your donation to WRIR during The Lotus Land Show.
