On Friday’s edition of Open Source RVA, we take a look back at how Levar Stoney (pictured) won the Richmond mayoral race, and debate the winners and losers of the 2016 city elections, with an all-star team of local political junkies — Melissa Vaughn and Jessee Perry from RVA Dirt, Marc Cheatham from The Cheats Movement and Open Source RVA’s host emeritus Chris Dovi. We also talk about Where Radio is Real, a new grant-funded initiative from WRIR and the Visual Arts Center of Richmond that teaches radio production and sound engineering to middle school girls. Nicki Stein from VisArts, C Eci Costanzo Hull from WRIR and our own Krysti Albus will fill us in.
