It’s a special day on Banji Kaicho: We welcome renowned Javanese singer/composer Peni Candra Rini and professor Andy McGraw back at WRIR! @penicandrarini will talk about her residency at UR and VCU, upcoming shows this spring (including a full concert in Singleton Center Thurs April 6th), her recent collaborations with Kronos Quartet, Deerhoof and Rumput, and how she’s liking as the artistic director of community ensemble @gamelanrva this semester.
