Handful Of Brains presents:
Thanks to Tony for this opportunity to serve as a sub for his always eclectic and entertaining show! This week I’m focusing on a series of live performances, some dating back many decades, starting with The Doors in a historic 1967 show in front of a small audience at The Matrix in San Francisco — before they hit it big later that year. And David Bowie’s final Ziggy Stardust concert, which has passed the 50-year milestone. Nirvana from more than 30 years ago, The Drive-By Truckers from their great performance at Plan 9 Records in 2006, The Rolling Stones and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram from last year, and finally a new track from Neil Young’s outstanding new album with Crazy Horse, “Fu##in’ Up.”
