Richmond has established a redesigned version of a modern day German Stammtisch. This language learning group shall function as a Hub for individuals to meet, speak and learn German. Ein Ort where you can form the connections you’ve been longing for. We’ve kept it classic in support of one of the only authentic German restaurants in Richmond. Café Rustika. Not only do they offer German Bier, Gurkensalat, Spätzle, Frikadellen, und Schnitzel. But they also offer a space for total immersion. This in-person experience should teleport you into another dimension. To be specific into another dimension of yourself. I am a firm believer that languages are portals linked to self-discovery. Picking up with 1981 and 1982 (L.J. Hosts)
When I hosted End of the Century four weeks ago, I focused on 1975 to 1981. I’m picking up with 1981 and 1982 for this show. I’m also slowing my roll a little; trying to choose a few songs from each year between 1975 and 1980 proved to be too ambitious. So, I’m just looking at two years, and maybe dipping my toe into 1983.
