This is another wonderful experience I get to have each week, the fact that I get to have this platform and opportunity to conversate with some of my favorite local artists, and then also on top of that meeting new individuals while on the search for music discovery. Sometimes schedules can be more complex and that’s when an impactful change from the usual flow can be beneficial for everyone. I hope that these 2 hour instrumental sessions are just as pleasurable as the episodes that feature guests and delightful conversation. On today’s episode I got to connect with Pockets, a dear friend who I haven’t actually been in the same room with physically since before the pandemic started. We talked about the very exciting release of their new EP “Medium Dream”, a mostly pop offering that explodes with a wave of synth, guitar, heavy dusty programmed drums (which we love so much), and the sweet sweet sounds of Pockets’ voice.
